Terms of play
Last updated: 14 October 2026
In short: free games with play coins for adults 18+ in the UK. Nothing to buy, nothing to win, no cash value — and you can take a break or close your account whenever you like.
1. Who we are
Emberlowe (emberlowe.com) is run by Mussuela Digital, Unipessoal Lda., a company registered in Portugal (NIPC 516284793) with its registered office at Rua do Sol 25, 3800-390 Aveiro, Portugal ("we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@emberlowe.com. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy notice and Cookie policy.
2. The service
Emberlowe is a free social casino games site for entertainment only. You play original games with Embers, a play-only currency. There is no real money play: you cannot stake, win or withdraw money, and there are no prizes of monetary value. Nothing on the site can be bought. Because no money or money's worth can be won, Emberlowe is not gambling and is not licensed by the Gambling Commission.
3. Where Emberlowe is available
Emberlowe is offered only to residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 or older — guests in demo mode and members alike. If you live anywhere else, or you are under 18, please do not use the site. By using it you confirm that both conditions apply to you. We may ask you to confirm your age and will close any account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 18 or outside the United Kingdom. Do not use Emberlowe if gambling-style games could be harmful to you.
4. Your account
You may hold one account. Give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are personal and cannot be sold, shared or transferred.
5. Embers, Merits and rewards
Embers, Merits, levels, ranks and every reward on the site are features of the game only. They have no cash value, are not your property, cannot be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged or withdrawn, and cannot be redeemed for money, goods or services. We may adjust balances to correct errors or abuse. Demo credits exist only in your open browser page and are never saved. Practice or success at our games does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
6. Fair use
Do not use bots, scripts or exploits; interfere with the site or other players; create several accounts to collect rewards; abuse the invite scheme; or use the site for anything unlawful. Game results come from a random number generator in your browser and each round is checked by our server; if we find tampering we may reverse the affected rounds or close the account.
7. Safer play tools
You can set a play reminder, take a break of 24 hours to 30 days, or self-exclude for six months to five years in your account. Breaks and exclusions start immediately, apply on every device and cannot be shortened or lifted early. During a self-exclusion we will not knowingly let you open a new account.
8. Content and ownership
The games, artwork, studio names, text and code on Emberlowe belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site for your own personal entertainment. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce or redistribute it without our written permission.
9. Availability and changes
We try to keep Emberlowe running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove games and features, and we may update these terms. If a change matters, we will show a notice on the site; carrying on using Emberlowe after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Closing accounts
You can close your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, belongs to someone under 18, or has been inactive for more than two years. When an account closes, its Embers and progress are deleted and cannot be restored.
11. Liability
Emberlowe is provided free of charge. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of Embers or progress, to the fullest extent the law allows. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about Emberlowe or these terms, are governed by the laws of England and Wales and belong to the courts of England and Wales — unless the law where you live gives you a mandatory right to go to your local courts, which is the case for consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Before going to court, please write to us at hello@emberlowe.com: almost everything can be settled by email.
13. Complaints and contact
If you are unhappy with anything on Emberlowe, email hello@emberlowe.com or use the contact form. We confirm receipt within five working days and give a full answer within 14 days.
