When your balance falls below 1,000 Embers you can top up for free from the Rewards page as often as you need. You never have to wait or pay.

Every Ember you play also earns a Merit. Merits move you up the Town Register, from Visitor to Mayor, and higher ranks add a loyalty boost to the Wheel and the Fountain. Merits never expire and have no value outside the site.

Your errand board always shows three small goals, such as playing a number of rounds on a game type. Finish one and its Embers are added straight away, and a new errand takes its place. There are no deadlines.

Each round is decided in your browser by the Web Crypto random number generator the moment you play. Previous rounds, your balance and your level never affect the next result. Each game's rules page lists its paytable and features.
